Shei + Sam | Romantic Cherry Blossom Engagement Session in Nature

One of my favorite part of engagement sessions is getting to photograph at great new places! Shei and Sam chose the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park for their location, where we were let in an hour before it was opened to the public. It was so rad having the entire garden to ourselves! And our timing couldn’t have been better! After all the recent rain, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the flowers and greenery were so lush and vibrant!

I’m very much looking forward to photographing this sweet couple’s wedding this fall at one of my favorite venues to photograph: The Grand Tradition Estate & Garden.
