The PMC Photography Experience

A guided wedding photography experience, thoughtfully handled from start to finish.

Step 1: Planning With Intention

What To Expect

Before the wedding day, we take time to get aligned. That means understanding what matters most to you, how you want the day to feel, and how photography supports the overall flow.

We’ll talk through your plans, priorities, and any questions early on. As the day approaches, I’ll help shape the timeline, plan family photos, and think through locations so everything feels realistic, spacious, and unhurried.

This is where clarity is built and trust takes shape, so when the wedding day arrives, you’re not managing details or watching the clock. You’re simply able to be present.

Step 2: The Wedding Day

On the wedding day, I bring a steady, grounded presence so things feel calm even as everything unfolds. I keep a close eye on timing, light, and pacing, adjusting quietly as needed so nothing feels rushed or stressful.

You’ll receive clear, natural guidance during portraits, then space to simply be yourselves as the rest of the day unfolds. I stay attentive to what’s happening around you, capturing both the moments you expect and the ones you didn’t even realize were happening.

When you look back, the photographs feel like the day you lived. Not something staged for the camera, but an honest reflection of how it all felt.

02

Step 3: Your Memories, Tangibly Preserved

After the wedding, the experience continues with the same care and follow-through. Every couple receives a custom-designed album, built to last and thoughtfully tailored to your day.

We’ll meet for a personal design session where I guide you through your images, help shape the flow of the story, and finalize the details together. This is also the time to explore wall art or gift pieces if they feel right. The process is collaborative and straightforward, without guesswork or overwhelm.

The result is more than a gallery of images. You leave with finished pieces that bring your wedding story into your home and into your everyday life, giving your photographs a presence that lasts well beyond the screen.

The Investment

That Grows More Valuable Over Time

Your wedding photographs are one of the few parts of the day that stay with you long after it’s over. They deserve care, intention, and a process that’s designed to last. That’s why every PMC collection is designed as a full-service experience, from planning and guidance through finished albums and artwork.

Whether you’re planning an intimate weekday celebration or a multi-day wedding weekend, we’ll shape a photography collection around what matters most to you, your timeline, and how you want to preserve your memories.

Collections with Paul begin at $3600

Associate photographer collections begin at $2800

If you’d like to talk through your plans, I’m happy to help you decide what makes the most sense for your day.

“Paul made us feel so cared for during the entire process. He goes above and beyond to make you feel celebrated."

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is cinematic, emotional, and story-focused. I blend natural moments with intentional direction to create images that feel artful, honest, and timeless. The result is a personal reflection of your day that feels real and grounded.

Will our photos be edited?

Yes, every image is carefully edited for color, exposure, and consistency. My style is true to color, never trendy, so your photos look timeless and won’t feel dated years from now.

Do you shoot on film, digital, or both?

While I love film and even used to develop my own rolls at home, I shoot weddings digitally. Your wedding day deserves the best tools available. Digital gives me the reliability, flexibility, and consistency to capture every moment without missing a thing. If you love the look of film, I can absolutely create that feel, just without the limitations that come with film.

Can we see a full wedding gallery, start to finish?

Yes, and I actually encourage it. Seeing a full gallery helps you understand how I document the entire day, not just the highlights. I’m happy to share one by request, and if I’ve photographed your venue before, I can include that as well.

How do we know you're the right photographer for us?

The right photographer is more than a great portfolio. It’s about trust, connection, and how it feels to have that person by your side. I bring calm energy, clear direction, and a personal approach to every wedding. If that sounds like the kind of experience you’re looking for, a quick call is usually the best way to see if we’re a good fit.

I don't want to spend an hour taking family photos. Do I have to?

Not at all. I’ll help you create a family photo plan so everything flows smoothly. With a little prep, we can usually wrap it up in 20 minutes or less so you can get back to enjoying your day.

When should we book you?

Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak spring and fall dates. If your date is coming up sooner, feel free to reach out anyway. I occasionally have last-minute availability or associate coverage options.

Do we need two photographers for our wedding day?

All of my full-day wedding collections include two photographers, which allows for more coverage, flexibility, and better flow throughout the day. Some couples add a third for large or multi-location weddings. If you're planning a smaller or more intimate celebration, solo coverage might be just right.

Can we customize our photography collection?

Absolutely. Your wedding is unique, and your collection should reflect that. Whether you're planning a single-day celebration, a weekend-long event, or something in between, we’ll build a custom fit that matches your needs and priorities.

What’s included in your wedding collections?

Each collection includes a handcrafted album, a one-on-one design session, and an assistant on your wedding day. Full-day weddings also include a second photographer to ensure complete coverage. From start to finish, you’re fully supported.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, connect with me as your photographer, and create gorgeous images for your Save The Dates, guestbook, or wall art.

Do you offer coverage for multi-day or destination celebrations?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a welcome dinner, cultural celebration, or a full wedding weekend, I’m happy to document the full story. I also travel for destination weddings and elopements across California and beyond. Let’s talk about what your unique celebration looks like and how I can support it fully.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

You’ll see sneak peeks just a few days after the wedding, and your full gallery is ready in about 3 to 4 weeks. Once you’ve had a chance to soak it all in, we’ll meet for your personalized design session to create your wedding album. Most couples have their finished album within 3 to 6 months.

Do you charge Extra For travel or Multiple locations?

Travel is complimentary within 75 miles of San Diego. If your celebration takes place beyond that or involves multiple locations, I’ll provide a custom quote up front. No surprises, just clear and simple details.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, I carry full professional liability insurance, which many venues require. I’m happy to provide documentation to your venue or coordinator upon request. It’s just one of the many ways I keep your day running smoothly and stress-free.
