Artfully Told Stories Start with a Guided Experience

 SoCal Wedding Photographer

This matters more than people tell you.

Wedding days move fast. People run late. Weather shifts and light changes. Family members wander off. (Where did Nonna go?) That doesn’t mean the day falls apart or that you should have to worry about your photos. Hand that part over to me. I'll roll with whatever the day brings, keep things on track, and still make room for every moment that matters to you.

How we go from “nice to meet you” to

The California Wedding Photography Experience

|

03. After the Big Day

Your story becomes something you hold forever.

A few days after your wedding, you’ll get sneak peeks. Then your full gallery arrives, a complete story of your day. We’ll sit down together for a personal album design session, and I’ll help you visualize the day from start to finish. From that, we’ll create something physical you can hold: an album, an heirloom.

02. Your Wedding Day

You stay fully present while everything is handled.

On the day, I bring a steady presence, so things feel smooth as everything unfolds. I’m watching for the light, the emotions, and the in-between moments. I guide you when direction helps, give space when it matters, and stay close to what you care about.

You don’t have to think about what comes next. When we work together, your job is to enjoy your day and celebrate with the people you love. That’s when the best photographs happen.

01. Before the Wedding

You feel clear, supported, and ready.

From our first conversation, my goal is to make sure you’re not doing this alone. As your wedding day approaches, I’ll help you think through the timeline, locations, and moments that matter most to you so everything feels unhurried and accounted for.

I ask a lot of questions because the details matter. By the time you walk down the aisle, you'll feel confident, because we've been preparing together.

Your wedding story becomes something you revisit for decades.

The wedding albums, part of every collection, are thoughtfully designed and made to last. It becomes a family heirloom that preserves the story of the day for generations.

Below, you can explore a selection of albums created for past clients. I guide you through every step, from choosing your images to refining the layout and finishes, so the final piece feels entirely your own.

Words can’t begin to express how wonderful Paul is. From the start, Paul has made every effort to keep us feeling comfortable, prepared, and supported. He is very communicative and helped us finalize the best timeline for our day. With a larger wedding party, he STILL managed to get all of our requested photos and then some before we ran out of daylight; all while creating a beautifully curated experience for us.

- Jessica + Luke

On the day of our wedding, he was just as lovely to work with and gave us great prompts on positioning and poses. He has a way of putting couples at ease. You can really tell how much Paul cares about his work and the people he works with. We really appreciate how easy he made this whole process for us, and how he walked us through it every step of the way. Thank you, Paul, for helping us beautifully capture and memorialize our favorite day!

- Taylor + Raul

He truly makes you feel celebrated and special throughout the entire process. I don't want to spoil any surprises for other upcoming couples, but he gave us some really fun and unexpected moments both before our wedding day and on the day. Paul is also just a genuinely nice person, easy to work with, and everyone at our wedding loved him. He is super professional, responsive, and helpful. We truly can't say enough good things about our experience!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you handle family photos and group shots?

I’ll help you create a family photo plan so everything flows smoothly. With a little prep, we can usually wrap it up in 20 minutes or less, so you can get back to enjoying your day.

How do you keep the day running smoothly?

We plan intentionally ahead of time, and I get really clear on your priorities. This way, I can make sure everything is well-handled, you know where to be when, and your day runs smoothly.

Can we see a full wedding gallery, start to finish?

Yes, and I actually encourage it. Seeing a full gallery helps you understand how I document the entire day, not just the highlights. I’m happy to share one by request, and if I’ve photographed your venue before, I can include that as well.

Do you photograph on film, digital, or both?

While I love film and even used to develop my own rolls at home, I shoot weddings digitally. Your wedding day deserves the best tools available. Digital gives me the reliability, flexibility, and consistency to capture every moment without missing a thing. If you love the look of film, I can absolutely create that feel, just without the limitations that come with film.

When should we book you for a wedding?

Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak spring and fall dates. If your date is coming up sooner, feel free to reach out. I occasionally have last-minute availability or associate coverage options.

What’s included in your wedding collections?

Each collection includes a handcrafted album, a one-on-one design session, and an assistant on your wedding day. Full-day weddings also include a second photographer to ensure complete capture of your day.

Do you offer photography for multi-day or destination celebrations?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a welcome dinner, cultural celebration, or a full wedding weekend, I’m happy to document the full story. I also travel for destination weddings and elopements across California and beyond. Let’s talk about what your unique celebration looks like and how I can support it fully.

Do we need two photographers for our wedding day?

All of my full-day wedding collections include two photographers, which allows for more flexibility and better flow throughout the day. Some couples add a third for large or multi-location weddings. If you're planning a smaller or more intimate celebration, solo coverage might be just right.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, I carry full professional liability insurance, which many venues require. I’m happy to provide documentation to your venue or coordinator upon request.

Do you charge extra for travel or multiple locations?

Travel is complimentary within 75 miles of San Diego. If your celebration takes place beyond that or involves multiple locations, I’ll provide a custom quote up front.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

You’ll see sneak peeks just a few days after the wedding, and your full gallery is ready in about 3 to 4 weeks. Once you’ve had a chance to soak it all in, we’ll meet for your personalized design session to create your wedding album. Most couples have their finished album within 3 to 6 months.
