Feel prepared, relaxed, and genuinely excited.
Before we pick up a camera, we talk through wardrobe, locations, and what actually fits your senior. If they're not exactly thrilled about being photographed, that's normal. We plan around it, not pretend it away.

Every stage of life photographs differently, and senior year is one I've come to appreciate more than I expected to. It's a strange mix of nerves and pride, often in the same hour, and getting it right means paying attention to both.
That's why I stay closely involved throughout, from the planning call to designing your artwork together.

Most sessions happen in spring or summer before senior year gets busy, though fall works too, depending on your timeline. Earlier is better, since weekend and golden-hour dates book up first.
When should we schedule our senior portrait session?
What if my senior isn't excited about being photographed?
Very normal. Most seniors relax within the first few minutes once the posing turns into just moving around and talking. If they're dreading it going in, that usually changes fast.
I'll send styling guidance ahead of time, along with outfit-change ideas for anyone who wants a bit of variety across locations.
