I love it when my couples take me somewhere new! So, Macaire and Nick intrigued me when they suggested Mount Laguna for their shoot. I had never done a shoot there before, but that just made it all the more exciting!

A Long Trail to a Mountain Engagement

As a nature-loving couple, Macaire and Nick decided to elevate their wedding announcement photos (literally) by venturing to Mount Laguna. Located about an hour east of San Diego proper, this picturesque location was perfect for their mountain engagement session. Now, here’s a little secret for you: this wasn’t our first attempt at an engagement session. Our first scheduled date was met with surprise rain, forcing us to reschedule. Then, just when we thought we had everything figured out, COVID-19 hit, put the state on lockdown, and we had to put everything on hold.

As soon as outdoor photography was deemed safe again, we jumped at the chance to capture Macaire and Nick’s love at Mount Laguna. This mountain engagement session was worth the wait — the photos turned out stunning!
