Beach maternity sessions are a celebration of love, anticipation, and the incredible beauty of nature. Maria and her husband Waldo’s maternity photography session perfectly blended breathtaking architecture and the natural wonders of the beach.
Maria’s gorgeous maternity photography session came as another referral from a past client. Referrals always mean so much to me because it means someone had a great experience working with me and loved their photographs. Maria and her husband were fantastic to work with. They wanted a variety of images, so they chose two locations: Balboa Park (with both architecture and nature) and Sunset Cliffs (one of my favorite places in San Diego to photograph). We had to hurry to make it to Sunset Cliffs before we lost the daylight. In the end, we got some fantastic nature and beach maternity images to commemorate her pregnancy with her first child.
At Balboa Park, we wandered the Organ Pavilion’s iconic architecture and the lower park’s enchanting gardens. The dynamic structures and beautiful foliage provided a perfect backdrop for their excitement and anticipation to shine through.
The adventure didn’t stop there. We quickly made our way to Sunset Cliffs, where the setting sun painted the sky a breathtaking display of colors. The rugged beauty of the cliffs, the crashing waves, and the vast expanse of the ocean created a mesmerizing atmosphere. Maria, with her baby bump glowing in the soft light, looked radiant against this natural backdrop.
Maria’s nature and beach maternity session yielded images that are not just visually stunning, but also filled with love, joy, and anticipation. They serve as cherished reminders of the incredible adventure Maria and Waldo are embarking on together. I am grateful to have been part of their journey and to have created art that will forever remind them of this special time in their lives.
