Golden Hour Engagement Session in Open Fields | Murrieta

A while back, I had the opportunity to participate in a styled golden hour engagement photoshoot organized by Styled Shoots with Janita Mestre. The theme was “Dusty Purple Romance,” and let me tell you, it was an absolutely breathtaking setting. The vibrant florals from Bleudog Floral and the elegant flatlays by Write This Way Calligraphy created an enchanting wedding atmosphere. But the true stars of the show were, of course, the real-life couple, Jesse and Jonathan, whose chemistry made capturing magic easy during this golden hour engagement.

A Lavender Love

Jesse, a talented hair and makeup artist known as Beauty By Jesse Dean, radiated beauty and confidence in a breathtaking lavender dress from Lulus. Jonathan, Jesse’s real-life boyfriend, looked dapper in a suit of his own. Their intimate and understated connection became the focal point of the shoot, resulting in the most captivating shots. The chemistry between them in that golden hour glow made every image a keeper!

As the sun began to set, casting a warm light over the open field, we entered what photographers often refer to as the “golden hour.” This magical time of day, just before sunset, is known for its soft, dreamy lighting that adds a touch of enchantment to photographs. This natural landscape became the perfect backdrop to capture Jesse and Jonathan’s love.

A Golden Love At Golden Hour

In this golden hour engagement session, I had the privilege of capturing genuine and luminous moments between Jesse and Jonathan. The golden light delicately illuminated their features, highlighting their genuine smiles, and casting a warm glow on their entwined hands. The magic of the golden hour brought their love to life, infusing the images with warmth and radiance. Capturing these beautiful and romantic moments was pure joy.
