Erin & Collin’s Fall Wedding at a Farm Venue: A Perfectly Unique Celebration
From sneaking glances at each other during high school rivalry games to bonding over their shared love of punk rock, Erin and Collin’s journey has been filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering love. Having known each other since they were 15, they’ve been inseparable since high school—despite attending rival schools! Collin proposed during a trip to Julian to celebrate their dating anniversary, and after buying a house together, they decided it was time to make things official.
Their shared love of snowboarding, punk rock concerts, tacos, and all things Harry Potter and Disney made their wedding an unforgettable blend of personality and fun. When Erin discovered my work at their chosen farm wedding venue on Instagram, she realized she had already saved many of my photos from the venue—so she reached out to check my availability. Their fall wedding in early October (on my birthday, no less!) at The Farm in Norco was an absolute blast to capture, and I loved every second of documenting their unique and heartfelt celebration.

A Stunning Fall Wedding at The Farm in Norco
Erin and Collin’s venue choice was close to home—they had close friends who had previously married there, which made it feel familiar and meaningful. Collin was drawn to the venue’s live animals, while Erin, though initially hesitant about its rustic charm, fell in love with the towering trees and serene landscape. Wanting to balance the venue’s country aesthetic with a more natural and elegant feel, they focused on highlighting the beauty of the outdoor setting, making the trees and open spaces a central part of their wedding vision. I’ve photographed at this venue before, and it was exciting to return and capture their ceremony at the Four Trees lawn site for the first time. The shaded, grassy setting was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows, officiated by their close friend Michael.

Personal Touches and Unforgettable Moments
From their fashion choices to their reception, Erin and Collin’s wedding was anything but ordinary. Erin stunned in a flowing gown from Jaclyn’s Bridal, while Collin rocked a burgundy suit lined with panther imagery—cue the Anchorman reference: “60% of the time, it works every time.” His custom cufflinks honored his late dog, adding another sentimental touch. Their wedding party was small but meaningful, with a maid of honor in eucalyptus green and a best man and father of the bride coordinating with matching ties.
The details of the day showcased their personality at every turn. Erin, highly allergic to most flowers, opted for a beautifully crafted wooden bouquet in black, white, and green that she could keep forever. The reception seating cards featured lightning-bolt-inspired writing as a subtle nod to Harry Potter. And in true Vans-loving fashion, the bride, groom, flower girls, and ring bearers all wore the iconic sneakers.

The Best Reception Ever: Sno Cones and Emo Hour
A highlight of the cocktail hour was the Sno Cone truck, an unexpected but delightful treat that perfectly matched Erin and Collin’s fun-loving vibe. Guests lined up eagerly, choosing their favorite flavors and reminiscing about childhood summers while enjoying the cool, refreshing dessert. The newlyweds kicked off the reception dinner by taking to the dance floor for a choreographed first dance to a live acoustic performance of Blink-182’s “First Date,” played by officiant Michael on guitar and sung by another close friend. And just when guests thought the night couldn’t get any better, the last hour of the reception transformed into a full-blown Emo Hour, complete with light sticks, headbanging, and nostalgic 2000s punk rock anthems. Erin and Collin were in their element, belting out lyrics with their friends, laughing between songs, and soaking in every moment of the high-energy finale to their unforgettable night.
At the end of the night, guests stepped outside, leaving Erin and Collin to enjoy a private last dance, swaying under the soft glow of string lights as they soaked in the final moments of their perfect day. With a spin and a dip, they embraced before stepping out to the cheers of their loved ones, who clapped, whistled, and shouted their well wishes. Some guests waved their light sticks in celebration, adding a vibrant glow to the couple’s unforgettable send-off into married life. It was a wedding that perfectly reflected their love, energy, and history together.

Capturing Every Moment
From their getting-ready moments to their final dance, my second photographer and I made sure every detail of Erin and Collin’s wedding was beautifully documented. Erin even surprised me with a “Birthday Boy” ribbon to wear throughout the day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The gesture made me feel incredibly appreciated and part of the celebration in a way I hadn’t expected. It was a reminder of how weddings aren’t just about the couple, but about the joy and connections shared with everyone present—including their photographer! Working with this fun-loving couple was a dream, and I couldn’t be happier to have been part of their fall wedding celebration.
Congratulations, Erin and Collin! Wishing you a lifetime of love, adventure, and endless punk rock concerts. Your wedding was a perfect reflection of your journey together—filled with personal touches, infectious excitement, and an electric atmosphere. From the high-energy Emo Hour that had everyone on their feet to the heartfelt first dance performed live by close friends, every moment was a testament to your love and vibrant spirit, making the entire day unforgettable. It was truly an honor to capture such a unique and heartfelt celebration.
