Brittany and Chris’s Fall Wedding at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens
Brittany and Chris said “I do” at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens in Fallbrook. Their dog even joined the November celebration in his own dog wedding attire, and let’s just say he may have out-dressed a few of the groomsmen. I loved working with Brittany and Chris. They were warm, silly, and so ready to celebrate with the people who love them most. From their first look to their final sparkler send-off, the whole day felt like them, through and through.
A Waterfall Wedding at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens
Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens has quickly become one of my favorite San Diego wedding venues. Tucked into Fallbrook, the property is bursting with tropical flora, hidden garden courtyards, and a natural waterfall that anchors the ceremony site like something out of a storybook. Brittany and Chris said their vows tucked in among palms and lush greenery. White folding chairs lined a petal-strewn aisle, and clusters of orchids, blush roses, and pink anthuriums framed the altar. Even on a November afternoon, it felt like a tropical escape.
Dog Wedding Attire On Display
Brittany and Chris’s dog, Archer, was prominently featured at their engagement session, so, of course, he had a starring role on the wedding day, too. He served as ring bearer, dressed in his own dog wedding attire, a sharp black tuxedo coat and a tiny floral boutonniere to match the guys. Archer trotted down that aisle like he knew exactly how good he looked. Guests melted. I melted. Honestly, I’m still not over it.
A First Touch and Quiet Moments Before the Celebration
Before the ceremony, Brittany and Chris shared a First Touch, just the two of them, taking one last breath before the day swept them up. “It gave us a chance to slow down and just be together,” Brittany told me. I love these quiet moments. They remind couples that the day belongs to them first, and to everyone else second. We spent the rest of the afternoon wandering the property for portraits, crossing the little bridge that leads to the ceremony site and ducking through the garden courtyards and shaded walkways.
Sparklers, Cheers, and a Send-Off to Remember
Every wedding day has to end sometime, but Brittany and Chris made sure theirs went out with some fun. As the couple enjoyed a private last dance, their guests lined up on either side of the walkway with bubble wands. When Brittany and Chris finally emerged hand in hand, the whole crowd erupted, cheering, laughing, and waving them through a tunnel of bubbles.
There’s something special about photographing a grand exit. It’s often the most unfiltered moment of the whole day. No more posing, no more schedule to follow, just pure, unscripted joy. Brittany and Chris practically ran to the car laughing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out their story.
What I Loved About Their Day
I covered Brittany and Chris’s wedding from getting ready all the way through their grand exit. My job was never just to take pictures.
