I’m so excited to share with you the incredible fall pumpkin patch photo session I recently had with the lovely Karla. But before we dive into the enchantment of the autumn season, let me take you back to where it all began.

A while back, I had the honor of capturing Karla and her husband Malachi’s love story in a beautiful couples portrait session. They graciously sponsored me onto base at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, where we discovered a rustic barn, a hidden gem nestled within the base. It was during this shoot that I noticed a delightful pattern – it was my fourth consecutive session with an active member of the military! There’s something special about photographing military couples; their love for the outdoors and zest for adventure always shines through.

When Karla reached out and asked if I could capture her fall pumpkin patch photos, I couldn’t have been more thrilled! She wanted to embrace the fall season in all its glory! What better way to do that than with a portrait session at a pumpkin patch?

Amidst the corn fields and the company of friendly scarecrows, we set out to capture the essence of fall. Pumpkins in all shapes and colors surrounded us as we laughed and explored the autumn atmosphere. Karla’s energy was infectious, infusing each shot with a sense of drama and fun.
