Nestled on a scenic plateau in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, Villa De Amore is a private vineyard estate that offers couples an all-inclusive, stress-free wedding experience unlike anything else in Southern California. With sweeping panoramic views of rolling vineyards, authentic Mediterranean architecture, and a family-operated team that handles nearly every detail of your day, this Temecula wedding venue has earned its place as one of the most beloved destinations for couples across San Diego, Orange County, and the greater Southern California region.

Villa De Amore is not a converted winery, a repurposed estate, or an afterthought. From the very beginning, it was conceived with one purpose: to be a world-class private wedding venue. That intentionality defines every corner of the property.
The story begins in 1989, when founder Eileen Rivard purchased a scenic piece of land overlooking the Temecula Valley. For the next fourteen years, she gathered inspiration from across Europe and Southern California, curating a vision for a purpose-built estate unlike anything the region had seen. On August 1, 2003, that vision became reality when Villa De Amore hosted its very first wedding.
The estate's growth has been both deliberate and family-driven. In February 2007, 10 acres of Nebbiolo grapes were planted across the property, establishing the vineyard aesthetic that now defines the horizon in every direction. In 2010, Eileen's son David transitioned into full-time management, freeing Eileen to focus on landscaping and expansion. The estate reached another milestone in January 2014 with the build-out of a new commercial kitchen, updated reception spaces, and a bridal suite renovation. Around this time, Michael, a Johnson & Wales culinary school graduate, joined as head chef, and Amy took over management of the catering department. In April 2015, the family acquired Rivard Farms, a neighboring 10-acre orchard that now supplies fresh citrus for the estate's bar program and serves as the working home of the Villa De Amore Floral Design Center.
What has emerged over more than two decades is a wedding estate that operates like a well-choreographed performance, where each element has been refined through hundreds of real weddings and the genuine care of a family that has poured its life into the property.
The core package bundles the venue, catering, floral design, DJ, professional pianist for pre-ceremony and cocktail hour, day-of coordination, and a Master of Ceremonies. Couples also benefit from a BYO alcohol policy, meaning they purchase their own beverages and the venue's bar staff handles all service, creating significant savings compared to traditional open-bar pricing at other luxury venues.
An on-site warehouse filled with furniture, decorative accents, vintage props, and specialty items gives couples the freedom to personalize their wedding aesthetic without relying on external rental companies. Farm tables, Fruitwood and Champagne Chiavari chairs, candelabras, mirrors, antique clocks, birdcages, and a wide range of decorative items are all available to choose from. Monique, the venue's professional designer, meets with each couple to curate the look of their event using the warehouse's extensive collection.
The estate's lighting installation is one of its most memorable features. More than 10,000 individual lights are woven throughout the gardens, trees, and courtyard spaces, transforming the grounds after sunset into a soft, glowing environment that is as photogenic as it is romantic.
A fan favorite among guests, the late-night street taco cart opens in the courtyard for one hour during the reception, serving freshly grilled tacos with a variety of meats and toppings. It is one of the most talked-about details in nearly every review the estate receives.
Both parties have custom-built preparation spaces ready from 2:00 PM on the wedding day. The bridal suite is serene and light-filled, while the groom's room features a lounge environment complete with a pool table.
The entire estate is reserved for one couple per day. Every ceremony setup, design choice, and vendor interaction is tailored exclusively to that wedding.
Villa De Amore is designed as a journey. Rather than anchoring the entire day to a single room, the estate's layout guides guests through a sequence of distinct spaces, giving each phase of the wedding its own atmosphere and energy.
Villa De Amore structures its pricing as a transparent, all-inclusive package designed to prevent the budget surprises that often accompany multi-vendor wedding planning. The base price covers the venue, catering, photography, floral design, DJ, coordination, and nearly every logistical element of the day.
Pricing is divided into two seasonal tiers:
Peak Season (April through November): Starting Package Price of $20,995
Value Season (December through March): Starting Package Price of $17,995
The starting package prices are for a base guest count of 50 guests and 9 event hours (2pm – 11pm).
For guest counts above 50, an additional per-person fee of approximately $120 applies. A refundable security deposit of $4,000 is typically required at booking. Based on typical guest counts and final configurations, most couples invest between $28,000 and $33,600 for their complete Villa De Amore wedding.
To put the value in context: the package includes a full floral design team sourcing directly from the venue's own Floral Design Center, a professional DJ and pianist, all furniture and linens, and the BYO alcohol policy that can save couples thousands compared to venues with mandatory bar packages.
