Escondido set the stage for a remarkable valley wedding, where Jackie and Nick shared their love with friends and family. Ever since, their lives have been filled with adventure, laughter, lots of board games with friends, and deep connection. Now, they were ready to embark on a new adventure and create unforgettable memories in the heart of the valley.

Nestled in the heart of Escondido, this private estate (owned by a close friend of the groom) offered a slice of paradise that left everyone in awe. The large home had been custom-built and included six large gathering areas for groups. The main indoor lounge was complete with a bar and a fully functional soda fountain. Additionally, the bar was surrounded by more Coca-Cola memorabilia than I’ve ever seen in one room. But the main events, the ceremony and reception, took place in the vast backyard. Picture this: rolling hills, vibrant foliage, a personal vineyard, and a view that makes your heart skip a beat. All this set the stage for Jackie and Nick’s unforgettable valley wedding.
Personal Touches and Family Connections
Undoubtedly, Jackie and Nick made their valley wedding their own, infusing it with personal touches that reflected their unique love. Custom signage was lovingly created by the mother of the bride, Kim, a professional wood burner. These personal pieces adorned the venue, adding a touch of warmth and creativity. And as a special gesture, they surprised their photographer (me!) with a thoughtful gift, expressing their gratitude for capturing their special day: a custom wood plaque with my company’s logo burned into it. This was the most thoughtful and heartfelt gift I’ve ever received from wedding clients.
But it wasn’t just the details that made this celebration truly special. All the guests at this private affair were family and their closest friends only. In fact, the ceremony was even officiated by Nick’s close friend and mentor whose home was hosting the day. Surrounded by their cherished loved ones, Jackie and Nick celebrated their union in a way that celebrated deep connections and lasting relationships.

Meanwhile, Jackie took ownership of planning their honeymoon. With her penchant for Disney and stuffed animals, it came as no surprise to Nick that she arranged for them a fun-filled week at the Disney World Resort.
