Fresh Spring Wedding Inspiration on the Arrowood Fairways
Some styled sessions check boxes. This one told a story. A powerhouse team of Southern California wedding vendors came together at Arrowood Golf Course in Oceanside. The result was exactly the kind of spring wedding inspiration that makes couples stop scrolling. Two distinct ceremony setups. Two stunning bridal looks. A blush VW bus parked on the terrace with the whole golf course stretched out behind it. This was a full day of intentional, well-executed wedding design, and PMC Photography was there to capture all of it.
Arrowood Golf Course sits in the rolling hills of Oceanside, just inland from the coast. It offers something rare for a wedding venue: dramatic natural landscape, multiple ceremony locations, and an outdoor reception space that feels both open and intimate. The fairways, the pond, the mature trees, and the coastal light all work in your favor here. It is the kind of venue that does not need much to look extraordinary.

Spring Wedding Inspiration Across Two Stunning Ceremony Sites
One noticeable choice was the use of two completely different ceremony setups at the same venue. The first was positioned on the fairway alongside the golf course’s water feature. Dark wood cross-back chairs lined the aisle, which was flanked by loose, wildflower-style ground arrangements. Purple and blue delphinium, blush stock, ranunculus, and white blooms spilled loosely onto the grass. The look was lush and meadow-like, paired beautifully with the tiered tulle ball gown from Natty Bella Bridal and a sharp black tuxedo from Friar Tux.
The second ceremony site sat further out on the open fairway. It featured a dark wood arch loaded with a cascading floral installation by the collective talents of By Design Florals, Pink Poppy Florals, Wild Beach Bunch, and Our Lady Roses. Cream roses, pink roses, and white lisianthus made for a backdrop brides would pin for years before their wedding day. Ground-level aisle arrangements in the same soft, romantic palette completed the look.

Every Detail, Thoughtfully Handled
The reception space brought the same cohesion. Sage and olive green textured linens from Ashley’s Party Rentals Inc. and Event Party Rentals SD dressed the round tables, topped with blue-rimmed charger plates, blush ruffled napkins, and low ivory rose centerpieces in gold footed vessels. Place cards from Papermade Studio and Premier Printing Company featured hand-lettered script names on white cards with soft sage botanical illustrations, tied perfectly to the linen palette. It is the kind of detail that really elevates the story of a wedding day.
The dessert table featured a three-tier square wedding cake from Sweet Maple Bakery and Batter Up Bakery with a rustic buttercream finish, fresh peonies, ranunculus, and succulents cascading across each tier on a natural wood slice base. Styled signature cocktails, a blush paloma and a classic old fashioned, sat alongside branded Arrowood napkins, tying even the bar program into the overall aesthetic.

From the Guest Book Table to the VW Bus Photo Booth
The guest book table was anchored by a gold sequin cloth and a “Words of Wisdom” book, with a playful golf ball tucked among the florals and candles as a small, smart nod to the venue. Parked on the upper terrace with the course spread out behind it, the blush Volkswagen bus from Happy Camper Photo Bus was one of the most photographed elements of the entire day.
Aly Rose Beauty Team, Bodacious Bridal HMU, and Bre Payton Designs handled hair and makeup across both bridal looks. Each look was polished, luminous, and complementary to the gowns without overshadowing them. Balloon installations from Balloons by Leylani and styling support from Best Day Ever Weddings and Events rounded out a vendor team that was firing on all cylinders.
Throughout the day, I worked across multiple locations on the property, including the pond and bridge with its canopy of foliage, the ceremony sites, the reception patio, and the upper terrace. I directed each couple through natural prompts and poses, blending editorial framing with more relaxed, candid moments. I shot using both natural light and off-camera flash to give the gallery range, with bright and airy frames alongside more cinematic, dramatic images that really lean into the setting. The open, nature-forward setting by the bridge and pond perfectly complemented one bride’s lace mermaid gown and its dramatic cathedral-length bridal cape, a showstopper that caught every breath of wind on the course.

A Day Full of Spring Wedding Inspiration
This session is proof that spring wedding inspiration does not have to be predictable. The team brought originality, craft, and genuine care to every element. Arrowood Golf Course’s versatile outdoor settings gave them the perfect canvas. If you are planning a wedding in San Diego or anywhere in Southern California and you want a venue that works with you, this one belongs on your list.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. It was a beautiful day to be a San Diego wedding photographer, and these images show exactly why.
