For their engagement session, they wanted locations that embodied their love story and San Diego’s iconic beauty. Choosing Locations For Their San Diego Engagement Photos
For Kim and Mike, choosing locations for their engagement session was incredibly important. They wanted settings that felt quintessentially San Diego, and they absolutely nailed it with Balboa Park and Ocean Beach Pier. Kim’s desire to capture the heart and soul of San Diego led us to these two stunning spots. Balboa Park’s iconic architecture was the perfect backdrop for some elegant, timeless photos. The Ocean Beach Pier, on the other hand, gave us a more relaxed, laid-back vibe with breathtaking coastal views. As a San Diego wedding photographer, I’ve worked at both locations many times, and they never disappoint.
We started their session at Balboa Park, one of San Diego’s most iconic locations. With its stunning architecture and incredible variety of photo opportunities, it’s a photographer’s dream. For this part of their session, Kim wore an elegant black dress, while Mike looked dashing in a button-down shirt, slacks, and a stylish jacket. The semi-formal attire perfectly suited the grandeur of the park’s beauty, adding a touch of sophistication to their San Diego engagement photos.
Next, we headed to Ocean Beach Pier. The soft light of the setting sun made for a perfect backdrop as Kim and Mike changed into casual attire.
