A Romantic Garden Wedding Venue Dream for Juliet and Jack
Juliet and Jack’s spring wedding in San Marcos was the kind that makes you breathe it all in. From the vintage charm of the venue to the warmth of the couple themselves, everything about this celebration was heartfelt and elegant. This garden wedding venue has always been one of my favorites in the San Diego area, and I was thrilled to be back for such a beautiful occasion.
They tied the knot in March, beneath a canopy of trees, surrounded by the magic of blooming gardens. Juliet and Jack were so much fun to work with—they were focused on being present, spending time with the people they love, and making sure the dance floor stayed packed (spoiler: it definitely did).

A Garden Wedding Venue Full of Charm
Green Gables Wedding Estate is a hidden gem of a garden wedding venue, tucked into the hills of San Marcos. Juliet and Jack chose it for the lush grounds and the peaceful, intimate ceremony space nestled under tall trees. They also loved the unique getting-ready spaces: the vintage schoolhouse for Juliet and her bridal party, and a tucked-away speakeasy lounge where Jack and his guys could hang out before the ceremony.
Since I’ve photographed weddings here many times, I know the layout well and have a great working relationship with the on-site coordinators. That meant the day flowed seamlessly, giving Juliet and Jack the space to be fully in the moment.

Personal Touches and Portrait Magic
Juliet wore a classic lace gown that looked like it was made for her. Her bouquet was soft and romantic, mostly white with touches of blush—and a beautiful charm honoring a best friend who had passed. Jack kept it timeless in a black tux and bow tie. The two of them together looked straight out of a movie.
We took their portraits in some of my favorite spots on the property: under the large central tree where they said “I do,” beside a charming rope swing, and in front of the schoolhouse’s ivy-covered façade. Later, we captured a few moody night portraits on the schoolhouse steps, lit softly beneath the garden’s hanging lights.
My team and I covered their full day, from those emotional getting-ready moments to their high-energy reception. We helped guide the timeline so they could maximize portrait time and still soak in every second with their guests.

Juliet and Jack, thank you for trusting me with your day. Your love, energy, and joy were contagious from start to finish. I’m so excited for you both, and I wish you a lifetime of laughter, late-night dancing, and garden swing moments.
