Waterfront weddings have a certain magic about them, don’t you think? The gentle sound of the waves, the warm breeze, and the stunning backdrop of the sun setting over the water—it’s a recipe for pure romance. Just like Jenna and Johnny’s beautiful waterfront wedding at the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club in Huntington Beach, Orange County. I had the incredible privilege of capturing their love story, and it was a day to remember.

My journey with Jenna and Johnny is kind of a cool one. They found me through Jenna’s sister, whom I used to work with back when I lived in the Bay Area. When Jenna and Johnny got engaged, they were on the hunt for an engagement photographer. Luckily, Jenna’s sister knew just the person for the job—me! We captured a stunning engagement session at Little Corona Del Mar Beach in Orange County, and they said they felt super comfortable with me.

Fast forward a few months, and Jenna and Johnny reached out to me once again, this time asking me to be the photographer for their wedding day. As you can imagine, I was over the moon! Their decision to tie the knot at the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club in Orange County was the perfect choice for their waterfront celebration.

Jenna and Johnny are the epitome of a chill couple. Their laid-back personalities and genuine love for each other set the tone for the entire day. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged heartfelt vows against the backdrop of the harbor’s glistening water. It truly captured the essence of a waterfront wedding.

As the sun began to set, the three of us snagged some beautiful portraits on the docks of the harbor. Then it was time to party! These two and their guests know how to tear up a dance floor! Before wrapping up, I stole the newlyweds for a couple of night portraits. It was the perfect ending for their wonderful waterfront wedding day.
