A Blend of Romance and Italian Wedding Customs
Some love stories are written in the stars, and some begin with a swipe on Hinge. The latter is what kicked off Nohely and Andrea’s journey to forever. Discovering an instant connection rooted in shared values — a deep love for family and a shared passion for exploring new places — their bond blossomed. Nohely’s talkative and outgoing nature beautifully complements Andrea’s quiet, reserved demeanor, bringing balance to their easy-going approach to life. These qualities shone through in every detail of their stunning summer wedding at the Island Club on the Coronado Naval Base.
I first met this sweet couple at the Bridal Bazaar Wedding Expo, where their genuine kindness left a lasting impression. Their wedding day, overlooking Breakers Beach, was the perfect blend of elegance, love, and cherished traditions. My team and I were honored to capture every moment, from the heartfelt ceremony to the lively reception. Photographing a wedding on the naval base for the first time was an unforgettable experience.

A Unique Venue with Coastal Charm
The Island Club on the Coronado Naval Base offered the ideal setting for Nohely and Andrea’s special day. Its rich naval history and breathtaking views of the ocean added a sense of grandeur to the celebration. The stunning backdrop captivated the wedding guests, and Nohely and Andrea couldn’t stop smiling as they took in the beauty of their surroundings.
The ceremony took place on a grassy lawn overlooking the beach. One of the most touching moments came when they exchanged personal vows. Nohely’s emotions bubbled over as she spoke from the heart, leaving not a dry eye in the audience. Their aisle recessional was equally charming, with guests blowing bubbles to celebrate the newlyweds’ first steps as a married couple. After the vows, guests gathered in the open courtyard for cocktail hour. The reception unfolded inside the elegant ballroom, where the black-tie decor and gold accents created a sophisticated ambiance.

Italian Wedding Customs and Heartfelt Details
Nohely and Andrea wanted their wedding to reflect their heritage and love for tradition. Italian wedding customs were woven beautifully throughout the day, from the charming party favors on the tables to the heartfelt toasts honoring family traditions. The favors, traditional Italian sugared almonds wrapped in delicate tulle, symbolized wishes for health, wealth, and happiness for the couple. The toasts, inspired by Italian wedding traditions, celebrated the importance of family bonds and enduring love, creating an emotional and heartfelt atmosphere.
The couple’s choice of a classic black, white, and gold color scheme enhanced the evening’s elegance, perfectly complementing their black-tie attire. The cigar bar set up during the reception was a crowd favorite, showcasing Andrea’s appreciation for life’s finer things. It was so popular that Andrea nearly missed out on enjoying a cigar himself!

Capturing Every Precious Moment
My team and I were there to ensure every moment of Nohely and Andrea’s wedding day was preserved. From the oceanfront ceremony to the heartfelt toasts and lively dance floor, each photo tells a piece of their love story. It was a privilege to document their journey, creating memories they will cherish forever.
