A Joyful July Wedding
Marzena and Matthew’s July wedding was the kind of day that felt joyful from the very beginning. From a meaningful Catholic church ceremony to a relaxed and heartfelt winery wedding reception, every part of their celebration reflected who they are and what they value. The wedding took place in Camarillo, surrounded by rolling vineyards and golden summer light. I absolutely loved working with this sweet couple. They were full of joy, deeply in love, and so excited to celebrate with their family and friends. Most of all, they made the day feel uniquely their own, from start to finish.

A Sacred Ceremony and a Joyful Winery Wedding Reception
The day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony filled with reverence and emotion. The church itself was stunning, with tall columns, warm wood tones, and stone textures that framed the ceremony beautifully. White florals and greenery accented the altar, keeping the decor elegant and understated. Marzena’s cathedral-length veil became part of the visual storytelling, flowing dramatically down the aisle and adding a cinematic softness to the space.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Casi Cielo Vineyards in Camarillo. Nestled among vines, olive trees, and stone pathways, the venue offered a warm, intimate atmosphere. The winery wedding reception felt relaxed and welcoming, while still beautifully curated.

Thoughtful Style, Warm Details, and Personal Touches
Marzena wore a classic ballgown-style wedding dress with a full A-line silhouette and layers of soft tulle. The fitted bodice featured delicate floral lace appliqué over a sheer base, giving the gown depth without heaviness. Her scoop neckline and lace straps felt refined and timeless, while her cathedral-length veil added drama and grace. An elegant updo and minimal jewelry completed the look, keeping everything polished and effortless.
Matthew wore a tailored dark gray suit with a crisp white shirt and soft gray bow tie. His yellow floral boutonnière added a cheerful pop of color that tied beautifully into the summer palette.
The decor blended rustic vineyard charm with refined romance. Natural wood tables, burnt orange napkins, greenery, and citrus accents created a warm, seasonal feel. One of the most memorable moments came during their grand entrance, when Marzena and Matthew arrived with llamas. Guests could pet and feed them, which brought laughter and surprise to the winery wedding reception. Later, we stepped away for sunset portraits among the vines and beside a vintage classic car, creating timeless images to close the day.

A Day Designed for What Matters Most
From their church ceremony through sunset portraits, I photographed Marzena and Matthew with a focus on presence and connection. Spending quality time with their loved ones was a top priority, and I helped them structure coverage to make that possible. Their day was joyful, intentional, and deeply personal.
Congratulations, Marzena and Matthew. It was an honor to tell your story and document such a meaningful celebration.
